Welcome to Woodstock Laundromat. To ensure a safe, efficient, and respectful environment for all customers, we ask that everyone follow the policies below. By entering our facility or using our equipment, you agree to these policies.
🧺 Self-Service Facility
Woodstock Laundromat is a self-service laundry.
This means:
Staff and contractors do not monitor or guard customer laundry
We do not watch machines or determine ownership of laundry
Customers are responsible for their belongings at all times
Please remain in the building while using our machines.
🛑 Customer Liability Policy
Woodstock Laundromat is not responsible for:
Lost, stolen, or misplaced items
Items left unattended in washers, dryers, carts, tables, restrooms, or anywhere inside the facility
Damage caused by normal washing/drying (shrinkage, color bleeding, wear)
Items left in pockets before washing
Laundry left unattended is at the customer’s sole risk.
Use of our facility constitutes acceptance of this policy.
🧺 Wash & Fold Service Terms
For customers using our wash and fold service:
Liability is limited to $25 or 10× the wash cost, whichever is lower
We do not guarantee special-care items, delicate fabrics, or “dry-clean only” pieces
Laundry not picked up within 30 days may be donated or recycled
We do not itemize individual clothing pieces
Thank you for understanding our limitations as a volume-based laundry service.
🎥 Security Camera & Privacy Policy
For the privacy and safety of all customers:
Security video footage is not released to customers
Footage may be shared only with law enforcement upon formal request
Staff cannot show, replay, or disclose video to the public
Cameras are used solely for safety and incident verification
We respect customer privacy and comply with all legal requirements.
⚠️ Behavior & Safety Policy
We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful space.
The following behaviors are not tolerated:
Harassment or verbal abuse
Threats or intimidation
Aggressive or disruptive conduct
Property damage, vandalism, or theft
Individuals engaging in this behavior may be asked to leave or trespassed from the property.
🔒 No Bailment
Woodstock Laundromat is a self-service facility.
By using our washers, dryers, or premises, customers retain full responsibility for their clothing and personal items at all times.
We do not take possession of customer laundry, and we do not create a bailment under Oregon law.
This means:
Staff and contractors do not assume responsibility for holding, watching, or safeguarding laundry
The laundromat is not liable for loss, theft, damage, or removal of items by other patrons
Leaving laundry unattended does not create any legal obligation for staff to act
Customers are solely responsible for monitoring and retrieving their belongings.
🧹 Attended / Unattended Hours Disclaimer
Staff/contractors presence may vary throughout the day based on:
Cleaning schedules
Maintenance responsibilities
Operational requirements
Safety rounds
Our staff and contractors are in and out of the building and are not required to remain onsite continuously.
Because we are a self-service laundromat:
Staff and contractors do not watch, monitor, or supervise customer laundry
Staff and contractors do not guard personal belongings
Staff and contractors do not verify ownership of items left in machines
Staff and contractors may not be present at the exact moment an issue occurs
Customers are responsible for supervising their own laundry and belongings at all times.
