Originally built as Woodstock Laundry, this laundromat has been part of the Woodstock community for more than 70 years. Over the decades it has operated under several names—including Forty-Eights Laundry, Wonder Clean, and Coin-Op Laundry—but its purpose has always remained the same: providing reliable and affordable laundry services for the neighborhood. The laundromat offers self-service laundry, high-efficiency washers, hot dryers, Wash & Fold service, and pickup and delivery laundry for residents across Southeast Portland.
The laundromat was purpose-built in 1954 to serve the growing Woodstock community. The original owners even lived next door in the pink house, and if you look closely, you can still see the remnants of the doorway that once connected their home directly to the laundromat. Small details like this reflect the deep history and neighborhood roots of this business.
Today, Woodstock Laundromat continues that legacy with modern high-efficiency washers, powerful dryers, Wash & Fold services, and convenient pickup and delivery options. We remain committed to providing a clean, affordable, and welcoming place for neighbors to do laundry.

Our washers range from 3-Load Washer $3.50Washers, Medium & Large Loads $5.00 to Extra-Large (Rugs & Comforters) $7.50. You don’t have to prepay to use our dryers—they’re just $0.25 for 7 minutes, and yes, the dryers are hot!

I have never been to a laundromat with a kids reading section, my son had fun reading about the trains. It smalls good here and very clean too. The owners are the sweatiest people I’ve ever met.
